At Hall & Birtles Solicitors, we are a friendly, modern, and approachable firm of solicitors with a combined experience of 60 years working in the legal profession. As of 1st June 2022, Hall & Birtles became part of Counterculture Partnership LLP, one of the UK's leading law firms, providing many benefits and strengthening our position in an increasingly complex and competitive market.

Our History

The firm has a rich history, with John Hall practising law in the Yorkshire Dales since the 1970s. He was joined by his son Stuart Hall in 2004 to create Critchley Hall Solicitors. In 2005, Debby Parish joined the firm, and it was also appointed as a Yorkshire Building Society Agency. David Gall Solicitors was established in 1992, and in 2010, Alastair Birtles and Michael Birtles became partners. Together, they have acquired over 40 years' worth of knowledge and experience working for a number of law firms prior to that.
